Hold Notification Options

Text Messaging notices

  • Hold Available notices are available via text messaging.
  • Delivered to your phone the day after the item is checked in at your pickup location.
  • One message for all holds checked in that day.
  • When you select Hold notices by text message, Overdue notices are printed (pre-overdue not available).

Email notices

  • Delivered to your email address within an hour after the item is checked in at your pickup location.
  • One email per hold checked in.
  • When you select Hold notices by email, Advance Notice of Item Due (pre-overdue), and Overdue notices are also emailed. 

Telephone notices

  • Call made to your phone the day after the item is checked in at your pickup location.
  • When you select Hold notices by phone, Overdue notices are printed (pre-overdue not available).

No Hold notices

  • You can choose not to receive Hold Available notices.
  • Overdue notices are printed (pre-overdue not available).
