Existing LINKcat Passwords/PINs were unable to be migrated to the new software system. All password/PINs were reset to the 4-digit month/day (MMDD) birthdate in your LINKcat account. If your LINKcat account does not have a birthdate, the password/PIN was reset to changeme.To keep your account secure, you should change your password/PIN.Changing your passwordClick Log In in the upper right-hand corner. A Log In box will appear.Log into your LINKcat account using your library barcode number and password/PIN.In the upper right-hand corner, click My Account.On the Personal Information tab, scroll down to Change PIN.Click the Change PIN header to open the menu.Enter your current password/PIN in the Current PIN box.Enter the new password/PIN in the New PIN and Confirm New PIN boxes.Click the Update button.A message will appear on the screen: PIN has been changed.Contact your local library for help if you are having difficulty logging in or have forgotten your library card number.For your protectionA password/PIN is a safeguard to ensure only you have access to your library account.
